Cedar wood essential oil:
It is an oil

Eucalyptus essential oil:
It is a
strong smelling oil that comes from eucalyptus trees. Simply add a few drops to
boiling water and inhale the steam vapors to help relieve respiratory problems
caused by colds and flu.
Lavender essential oil:
The oil from
lavender has potent antiseptic and antibacterial properties, making it great
for treating cuts, burns, cold sores, and skin problems like eczema. For sleep
problems, sprinkle a few drops onto your pillow to help induce sleep.
Lemon essential oil:
The
antibacterial acids in lemon oil make it a great mouthwash. Simply add 3 or 4
drops to a glass of water and gargle as you would with a normal mouthwash.
Peppermint essential oil:
It is used in
beauty products because of menthol, which creates a cooling effect and reduces
inflammation. Smelling it can also relieve stress. Add a few drops to boiling
water and inhale the steam to help with respiratory problems.
Rose essential oil:
It is used
often in skin care products to moisturize skin, preventing wrinkles, and
promotes regeneration of skin cells. A study published in a journal called Chemical
Senses showed that inhaling rose oil may help reduce stress.
Rosemary essential oil:
A study from
the British Psychological Society shows that smelling rosemary essential oil
may help you remember to do things.
Sweet orange essential oil:
This oil
often used in aromatherapy to treat depression. It is also used in cleaning
products and wood protecting products.
Tea tree essential oil:
When applied
to the skin, it is known to help relieve inflammation. It also has antibiotic
properties, which makes it effective for killing bacterial infection on the
skin. A University of Michigan study reported that staph infections can be
relieved or even prevented using a 5% tea tree oil body wash.
