Natural Cosmetics & Skincare
Everyday we watch advertisements on cosmetics that
promise miracles, but we all know that the traditional cosmetics companies
produce products that seriously pollute the environment and that they contain
harmful substances to humans. And besides that, for the development and
manufacturing process of their products these companies use animals for testing
purposes.
Everyday women and men make use of soaps, shampoos,
creams, toothpastes, deodorants, perfumes, lipsticks. All that we spread on our
body is absorbed almost completely by the body.
All traditional brands produce cosmetics that contain
petroleum derivates, synthetic dyes, silicons, heavy metals, perfumes,
allergenic substances which to large industries are cheap, but for us humans
are highly toxic, carcinogenic which damage our body causing serious problems
such as allergic reactions. And it is very serious that those ingredients are
also present in products for children.
These toxic ingredients clog pores and a long time use
of these products can cause damage to our skin and general health too. It is
important that our skin is able to breath so it maintains its physiological
functions.
Fortunately, in recent years many people have become
more conscious and aware about these issues and have started to have an interest
in the natural cosmetics brands totally replacing traditional ones. Nature
provides us with everything we need for the care of our bodies.
Many natural cosmetics and skin care products contain
ingredients that are botanically sourced, meaning the products contain
naturally derived components which give excellent results in e.g. reducing the
appearance of wrinkles. All these active ingredients and natural substances
help the function of our skin. The use of these ingredients contributes to the
maintenance of healthy skin at any age.
Unfortunately, natural skincare products have higher
prices due to the high cost of raw materials and also to their preparation. It
is possible however to find good products at affordable prices.
There is also to say that they are products that
require a small amount then the product will last longer. Natural products have
a shorter lifetime because of the absence of chemical preservatives, on average
6 to 12 months.
Let’s hope that in the near future many more people
become more aware about problems that traditional skincare can cause and become
more respectful towards nature and towards our selves and our body.
